We the Spirits is a photography book containing portraits of masquerades of traditional Carnival. Covering 15 countries over 15 years, it shows the participants in the ritual and festival of Carnival, focusing on traditional, folkloric, and community celebrations.
Carnivals photographed in: Austria, Brazil, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Greece, Guinea-Bissau, Italy, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Trinidad and Tobago, and the United States.
